Philanthrophy

There is a distinction in the business world between companies who encourage their people to reach beyond their jobs to find ways to help other people, and those who do not.

C. T. Brayton and Sons, Inc. believes that the world is larger than we are, and that what we do with our time and talent has more to do with being better people than enabling the bottom line. Our personal and professional success and happiness lies in finding ways to help other people achieve success. We translate this philosophy to an intense philanthropic program. A partial list of projects and contributions follows:

  • Regular contributions to Make-a-Wish Foundation and Children’s Diabetic Foundation.
  • Escalon High School Scholarship Program.
  • Yearly contributions to “Friends of Hospice”.
  • Ongoing site management and concrete work for Sawyer’s House, a Children’s Crisis Center Home.
  • Renovations and repairs for the Redwood Family House, a division of Interfaith Ministries.
  • Redesign and installation of Escalon High’s baseball fields.
  • Ongoing support of the Escalon and Calaveras Future Farmers of America.
  • Continuing support of area school’s sports boosters programs.
  • C. T. Brayton and Sons, Inc., Annual Merit Scholarship Award program.
  • Sierra Vista Children’s Homes.
  • Escalon High School “Every 15 Minutes” program.
  • Annual golf fundraisers for Memorial, Sutter Gould and Newman Crowslanding USD.
Additionally, we traveled to Romania with the Fosters and erected a creamery for Village 2, at Caminul Felix, “Happy Home,” orphanage. We selected our top superintendents and most loyal subcontractors to be a part of this life-changing experience and erected the entire creamery, including offices, in just 14 days. On our final day with the children, we presented them with toys, wagons, and sports equipment brought with us from the States.
